Iraq’s oil exports to the US increased last week

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq's oil exports to the United States had increased over the past week. According to the EIA, Iraq's oil exports to the United States increased by one thousand barrels per day to reach 308 thousand barrels per day, making Iraq its third largest exporter of crude oil after Canada and Brazil. The EIA showed in a table that US imports of crude oil from nine major countries increased during the past week by 716 thousand barrels per day, reaching 5.548 million barrels per day. The largest increases in imports came from Canada and Mexico, while they were not imported from Russia due to its position on the Ukraine war. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
