Israel Intensifies Aggression in Tulkarm and Nur Shams Camps

Tulkarm: The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on Tulkarm and its camp in the northern West Bank for the 51st consecutive day. They also continue their aggression on the Nur Shams camp in the same city for the 38th day, amid military reinforcements, home demolitions, and forced displacement of residents.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that occupation bulldozers demolished homes and residential buildings in the Al Ghraifat area in the Al Manshiya neighborhood in the Nur Shams camp. This demolition is part of a plan to pave roads inside the camp and change its geographical nature, especially following the forced evacuation of its residents.

The sources also noted that the occupation forces compelled residents to leave their homes in the Jabal Al Salihin neighborhood in the Nur Shams camp, which is under siege. This operation was accompanied by extensive raids, home vandalism, and threats to evacuate. The camp has been largely emptied, with over 12,000 refugees displaced.

Meanwhile, in Tulkarm camp, a large-scale displacement occurred in neighborhoods such as Qaqun, Abu Al Ful, and Marbat Hanoun. The residents were forced to leave through intimidation and threats.

The sources highlighted that 200 families were displaced from their homes in the last two days due to the intensifying aggression and ongoing threats by the occupation forces.

These events are part of a broader escalation by the occupation forces in Tulkarm and its camps, resulting in the deaths of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was pregnant. The violence has also led to injuries, arrests, the forced displacement of more than 24,000 people, and the destruction of vital infrastructure, including water, electricity, sewage, and communication networks, along with homes, shops, and vehicles.
