West Bank: Israeli occupation forces arrested 20 Palestinians during raids on several areas in the West Bank on Thursday. The arrests were part of a series of operations conducted by the Israeli military in various regions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the detainees included 14 individuals from Bethlehem, one from Salfit, and five from Hebron. These arrests were accompanied by heightened military activities across the West Bank.
In parallel with the arrests, Israeli forces established numerous military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps. Several main and secondary roads were also closed using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, impacting the movement of Palestinian residents.
The escalation of Israeli operations has been marked by increased incursions, arrests, and indiscriminate shootings in Palestinian territories. These actions have contributed to heightened tensions and instability in the region.
