The Israeli navy attacked on Monday fishermen sailing on the northern coast of the besieged Gaza Strip and detained five of them.
According to local sources, the navy ships opened fire at the fishermens boats before detaining five and seizing their boats.
On Sunday, Israeli naval boats targeted fishermen's boats in the open sea of Al-Waha and Al-Sudaniya areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
The occupation forces deliberately target fishermen on a daily basis and prevent them from practicing their profession.
