Israeli Occupation Forces Intensify Tulkarm Assault with Reinforcements

Tulkarm: Israeli occupation forces have continued their assault on the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp for the 42nd consecutive day, and on Nur Shams camp for the 29th consecutive day, amid military reinforcements, an ongoing siege, and home raids.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli forces deployed additional reinforcements toward Tulkarm. Military vehicles and foot patrols were stationed across streets and neighborhoods, restricting movement, stopping vehicles and pedestrians, and conducting identity checks and searches.

The occupation forces also tightened their military presence in the suburb, particularly in areas overlooking the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps.

Israeli troops, along with heavy military vehicles and bulldozers, have maintained a strong presence in front of residential buildings that they have seized and turned into military outposts, particularly along Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps. This has coincided with the stoppage and inspection of passing vehicles.

The ongoing aggression in the city and its camps has resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens of people have been injured and arrested, while more than 9,000 residents from Nur Shams camp and 12,000 residents from Tulkarm camp have been forcibly displaced.
