Beirut: Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of strikes and incursions across eastern and southern Lebanon on Tuesday, targeting multiple locations, Lebanese state media reported. Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) said an Israeli airstrike hit a house in Sidon, southern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli forces raided the town of Halta in the Arqoub region, storming several homes, opening fire on residents, and detaining one person before withdrawing. Separately, an Israeli drone struck the town of Harouf in the Nabatieh district, while warplanes carried out multiple air raids on Kfar Tibnit, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
In eastern Lebanon, two airstrikes hit the outskirts of Shamshtar, west of Baalbek. Israeli warplanes also conducted strikes on mountainous areas in Shaara and Hermel. The death toll from Israeli strikes on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 1,039, with 2,876 wounded, according to official figures.
