Tel Aviv - Ma'an - Israeli sources reported today, Saturday, that the leader of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, is not in Rafah, contrary to previous assumptions. Two Israeli officials confirmed to The Times of Israel that the latest information suggests the presence of Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, in Gaza, through tunnels in the vicinity of Khan Yunis, and not in Rafah, where the Israeli army is currently moving. The two officials indicated that Sinwar, the mastermind of the October 7 operation, continues to escape from the occupation forces in Gaza. The Israeli newspaper reported that Israel made 'eliminating Sinwar' an essential element in its declared goal of destroying 'Hamas.' Source: Maan News Agency
