Gaza City: The casualty figures resulting from the renewed Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip since this morning have surged, reaching 404 martyrs and 562 injured. Palestinian medical sources announced Tuesday that hospitals in Gaza had received the bodies of 404 Palestinians, mostly women and children, along with 562 others wounded in a series of airstrikes and fire belts carried out by Israeli warplanes.

According to Qatar News Agency, scores of casualties remain trapped under the rubble, with emergency crews unable of reaching them. The ongoing violence has significantly strained Gaza’s medical facilities, which are struggling to cope with the high number of casualties.
