The Jerusalem District Electricity Company received a crane for carrying heavy equipment, produced by Liebherr, model LTM1230.5, which can lift 230 tons to a distance of 75 meters and includes the latest operating and safety technologies.
The Jerusalem company confirmed that the purchase of the crane was made in cooperation with the German company Lieber.
The company was honored in the presence of Stefan Walter - Regional Sales Director at Lieber Company, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jerusalem Governorate Electricity Company and its General Manager, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari, Deputy General Manager, Engineer Muhammad Zidan, Director of the Jerusalem Branch, Engineer Akram Shihabi, Director of Technical Administration, Engineer Salah Alqam, and Mr. Firas Jubran, Director of External Public Relations. The protocol in the company, a number of members of the board of directors, the secretary of the company’s workers union, Jawad Al-Debs, the directors of technical departments and departments, and a number of engineers, in addition to some of the company’s employees who participated in training courses with the German company Lieber.
The project included 3 training courses for 2 engineers and 3 operators. The courses were organized in Germany, two courses, and a third course in the city of Lod in the occupied territories.
The purchase of the heavy crane comes within the framework of the company’s work strategy to develop its services and raise the efficiency of its employees, including engineers, technicians, and heavy equipment drivers, which will reflect positively on the services provided to subscribers, noting that the Jerusalem company has 45 main stations in which there are 77 main transformers that require complete care throughout the year
