Jordan: Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi discussed de-escalation efforts in the region in a telephone call today with his American counterpart Marco Rubio. During the call, the two ministers also discussed several bilateral issues, as well as prospects for restoring security and stability in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the US Secretary of State condemned the Iranian attacks on Jordan and several other countries in the region. For his part, the Jordanian Foreign Minister stressed the importance of Jordanian-American relations and the continued work to develop them.
