King of Jordan and Palestinian President Emphasize Two-State Solution

Riyadh: King Abdullah II of Jordan and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas discussed on Tuesday the overall situation in the Palestinian territories: The region will not experience stability unless the Palestinian people get their full legitimate rights and establish an independent Palestinian state based on the two-state solution, said the King.

According to Qatar News Agency, the King also reaffirmed Jordan's rejection of any Israeli measures aimed at exploiting the situation in the region to impose a new reality in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.

The two sides also emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultations in a way that serves shared interests.
