Doha: An Amiri decree was issued Monday in Kuwait accepting the resignation of Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Mahmoud Bushehri.

According to Qatar News Agency, another Amiri decree was issued appointing Dr. Noura Al Mashaan as Acting Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, in addition to her post as Minister of Public Works. Dr. Bushehri was appointed in late August by virtue of an Amiri decree amending the appointment of a number of ministers and appointing other ministers.
