Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index lost 32.98 points to reach 8,571.14 points, a decrease of 0.38 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 137.6 million shares exchanged, valued at KWD 47.3 million, which is approximately USD 145.2 million, across 12,072 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 20.28 points, bringing it to 7,980.85 points, a decrease of 0.25 percent. This was achieved through 59.5 million shares traded in 4,587 transactions, with a total value of KWD 8.4 million, or about USD 25.7 million.
The Premier Market Index also saw a downturn, losing 37.43 points to settle at 9,141.04 points, a reduction of 0.41 percent. This was the result of trading 78.1 million shares in 7,485 transactions, with a total trade value of KWD 38.9 million, approximately USD 119.4 million. Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index decreased by 14.85 points to 8,268.72 points, which marked a 0.18 percent increase. This involved a stock volume of 52.3 million shares completed in 3,629 deals at a value of KWD 7.2 million, roughly USD 22.1 million.
