Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index losing 39.25 points, settling at 8,784.28 points and marking a decrease of 0.44 percent. In total, 366.1 million shares were exchanged, valued at KWD 97 million, approximately USD 317.3 million, across 25,274 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced an increase of 39.82 points, rising by 0.46 percent to reach 8,631.97 points. This was achieved through 192 million shares traded in 11,467 transactions, amounting to a value of KWD 30.2 million, or about USD 98.7 million.
Conversely, the Premier Market Index saw a decline of 58.10 points, down by 0.62 percent, concluding at 9,272.53 points. This segment witnessed 174.1 million shares traded through 13,807 transactions, with a total value of KWD 66.7 million, roughly USD 218.1 million.
In a different trend, the Bourse Main 50 Index gained 53.16 points, increasing by 0.56 percent to reach 9,605.26 points. This was accompanied by a stock volume of 159.6 million shares, handled in 8,994 deals, with a total value of KWD 25.2 million, approximately USD 82.4 million.
