Doha: Kuwait on Monday strongly condemned the Israeli occupation authorities’ decision to block the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs dismissed the Israeli occupation’s decision as a blatant violation of international law and the principles of international humanitarian law. It also noted the disregard for the catastrophic impacts of the war on Gaza.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that Kuwait renews its call for stopping all decisions and policies which do not adhere to humanitarian principles and deny Palestinian people their basic rights. The Ministry highlighted concerns over the use of starvation as a weapon to pressure Palestinians, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
