Kuwait city: The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in Kuwait has revealed that four electric power transmission grids have been returned to operation, based on the highest level of approved safety measures, after the completion of technical assessments. These grids had suffered damage due to attacks on the State of Kuwait at dawn Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, spokesperson Eng. Fatima Jawhar Hayat stated that these grids were part of the seven lines damaged by malign Iranian-origin attacks. She explained that the restoration was carried out with high agility, adhering to enforced contingency plans. Hayat added that on-site surveillance would continue to ensure technical inspections of every part of the power grid and enhance its readiness across different areas of the nation.
Technical teams are operating around the clock to complete repairs on the remaining grids and aim to restore them to optimal service as soon as possible. This effort is guided by stringent safety and quality standards. On Monday, the Ministry announced that seven power transmission grids had gone out of service in several parts of the country. The outages resulted from fragments caused by the nation's air interceptors, leading to partial power disruptions in some areas.
