Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index lost 8.47 points to reach 7,183.7 points, a decrease of 0.12 percent. According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 386.7 million shares valued at KWD 72.2 million (roughly USD 220.2 million) were traded via 17,883 transactions. The Main Market Index showed a slight increase, rising by 6.28 points to reach 6,534.07 points, an increase of 0.10 percent. This movement involved 272.3 million shares traded through 10,687 transactions valued at KWD 34.9 million (roughly USD 101.6 million). The Premier Market Index experienced a decline, falling by 12.78 points to reach 7,702.75 points. This change occurred through the trading of 114.4 million shares in 7,196 transactions valued at KWD 37.2 million (roughly USD 113.4 million). Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index gained 4.80 points to reach 6,444 points, an increase of 0.11 percent, with a stock volume of 220.9 million shares traded in 7,563 deals at a value of KWD 28.7 million (roughly USD 87.5 million).
