Beirut: One Lebanese military personnel succumbed to his injuries sustained after an Israeli bombing raid in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese army announced today.
According to Qatar News Agency, earlier today, the military announced that five service members had incurred various injuries, two of whom are in critical condition, as a result of an Israeli aerial raid that hit them while they were moving with a vehicle and a motorcycle; one of them was hospitalized.
The death toll from the Israeli onslaught on Lebanon has risen to 886, with 2,141 injured based on the latest figures, while intense raids drag on across many parts of the country, something that causes aggravation of the humanitarian situation.
Consequently, over a million people have heretofore fled their homes, according to the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Lebanese Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
