Lusail: The Lusail International Circuit, a prominent Qatari destination for motorsport events, announced Sunday the return of its community events on the track during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Circuit highlighted that motorsport enthusiasts can now experience driving on the iconic 5.38-kilometer circuit, which hosts Formula 1, MotoGP, and the Qatar 1812 km endurance race. A professional racing experience will be available on March 20, where participants will drive under the supervision of experienced experts in a safe environment.
These events will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., with participant registration at Pit Garage 50. For safety purposes, participants will be divided into two groups, each receiving three 20-minute training sessions, totaling one hour on the track.
In addition, the Circuit will host an open day for motorbikes on March 21, offering riders the opportunity to navigate the track’s 16 corners. Riders can experience riding on the MotoGP cir
cuit to polish their skills alongside top global riders. The event will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., with participant registration at Pit Garage 50. Riders will receive guidance from experienced bikers, divided into two groups, each participating in three 20-minute training sessions, totaling one hour on the track.
The Circuit will host a mixed open day in collaboration with Qatar Cycling Federation (QCF) on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This will be followed by an individual time trial on the same day starting at 9:00 p.m., determining the fastest riders on the Lusail Circuit. Pre-registration is required for participation. Additionally, a women’s open day will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Participants must present their Qatari ID for on-site registration.
