Qatar Assistive Technology Center “Mada” has launched a tool for monitoring and measuring website accessibility, with the aim of evaluating the level of information and service accessibility on websites and ensuring their independent use by all members of the society, particularly persons with disability and the elderly, especially when completing their government transactions.

This comes in line with the continuous developments of websites and digital content accessibility standards that Mada is keen to carry out in order to meet the aspirations of the persons with disability and the elderly, while ensuring the compliance of websites with the latest international digital accessibility standards.

According to digital accessibility concept, all texts, buttons and pages on any website shall be easily accessible for all people, including persons with disability and the elderly.
