Minister of Labor chairs the first coordination meeting of the Arab group held in Geneva

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi chaired the first coordination meeting of the Arab group on the sidelines of the International Labor Conference in its (112) session in the Swiss capital, Geneva. The meeting, which was attended by the Director-General of the Arab Labor Organization Fayez Al-Mutairi, the Regional Director of the International Labor Organization Dr. Ruba Jaradat, and a number of Arab Labor Ministers, heads of diplomatic missions residing in Geneva, with the rest of the production parties, employers, and workers, is following up on the items and decisions taken in the 50th session of the Arab Labor Conference in Baghdad. The work of the (112) session of the International Labor Conference includes discussing a special item to support Palestinian demands, follow up on the implementation of development cooperation programs for the benefit of Palestine and the occupied territories, and the State of Palestine's request for full membership in the International Labor Organization.
