The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the return of 621 Iraqi citizens from Sudan so far, including Syrians and Sudanese.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement, "The last evacuation flight allocated by the Prime Minister arrived in Baghdad, carrying dozens of Iraqis and Arab citizens who were stuck in Sudan as a result of the events there," noting that "with five (C130) aircraft, 621 Iraqi citizens returned so far, including dozens of Syrian and Sudanese nationalities.
He added, "The Emergency Diplomacy Response Operations Room worked hard, in coordination with the Iraqi Air Force and its heroes, to make the evacuation air bridge a success."
