Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Wednesday will see moderate temperatures with some clouds, and will be cold to very cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be fine, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea till noon.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 5 – 15 KT, gusting to 20 KT at places during the daytime. Offshore, the wind will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 10 – 20 KT, gusting to 26 KT until noon, then decreasing to 5 – 15 KT.

The sea state inshore will be 2 – 4 feet, rising to 5 feet until noon, and then falling to 1 – 3 feet. Offshore, the sea state will be 3 – 6 feet, rising to 8 feet until noon, and then falling to 2 – 4 feet. Visibility inshore and offshore will be between 5 – 10 kilometers.
