In the presence of HE Mr. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, the Minister of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alfardan Automotive, the premium automotive division under Alfardan Group, for providing free electric vehicle (EV) charging units.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Khalid Al Thani, Director of Technical Affairs Department at MOTC and Mr. Omar Hussain Alfardan, President and CEO of Alfardan Group, signed the MoU.
As per the MoU, Alfardan Automotive will provide electric vehicle charging units for free. The charging units meet the standard specifications of electric chargers issued by the State of Qatar and will be installed at locations to be specified by MOTC, as well as performing required periodic maintenance for these charging units.
