Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index 30 experienced a drop on Thursday, closing at 7,967.60 points. This marks a decrease of 59.9 points or 0.75 percent from the previous closing figure of 8,027.52 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value on the MSX amounted to OMR 67,014,005. This represents a decrease of 24.9 percent compared to the prior session's trading value of OMR 89,250,368. Additionally, the market value fell by 0.372 percent, bringing it to approximately OMR 37.47 billion, as detailed in a report released by MSX.
