The National Security Service seized projectiles and ammunition in Tarmiyah, north of the capital, Baghdad. A statement by the Security Media Cell stated that accurate intelligence information received by the National Security Service confirmed the presence of a pile of weapons and equipment of various sizes belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs in one of the orchards of the Tarmiyah area, north of Baghdad. Immediately, a force from the Service moved and found a large number of weapons, which included (24) 122 mm projectile and 83 steel tubes, all used in making explosive devices, were hidden underground. He explained that it was extracted by the National Security detachments, transported to a safe place, and duly handed over to the engineering effort in the Sixth Division within the Baghdad Operations Command.
