Nine Al Shabaab Members Killed in Military Operation in Southern Somalia

Gaza: Nine members of Al Qaeda-affiliate, Al Shabaab, were killed during a military operation in southern Somalia on Tuesday. Local sources reported that Somali National Armed Forces together with local community forces carried out a military operation in the villages of Buulo Naagey and Busley Daud in the Lower Shabelle region, resulting in the deaths of the nine members.

According to Qatar News Agency, the operation was part of ongoing efforts to dismantle Al Shabaab's presence in the region. The collaboration between the national forces and local community groups highlights an integrated approach to combating the militant group.
