Nine wanted persons arrested and 64 violations recorded in Babylon

Babylon Police Command announced today, Sunday, within the framework of its efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability, the implementation of comprehensive security operations that resulted in the arrest of 9 wanted persons and the recording of 64 various violations. Babylon Police Director, Brigadier General Ali Al-Hasnawi, said, "The detachments of the field departments directorates, in cooperation with other security agencies, were able to arrest 8 of the wanted persons according to various legal articles in various areas of the governorate. It also recorded 62 traffic violations, and seized 3 violating vehicles. He added, in other operations, the detachments of the Hilla-Qadisiyah checkpoint were able to arrest a wanted suspect according to Article 459 of the Penal Code.
