Manama, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, conducted an inspection visit to the Bapco Command Centre, where he closely reviewed the company's preparations and readiness for emergency situations. Minister Dr. Bin Daina commended the level of preparedness and high readiness of the company, which reflects its level of expertise and efforts in capacity building. He lauded the utilisation of modern equipment and advanced technologies in addressing emergencies, aligning with the latest internationally recognised emergency protocols. Stressing the imperative of perpetuating a culture of occupational safety within society, he underscored the need to bolster the readiness of technical teams to effectively tackle cases of emergencies and crises. Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Refining, expressed his appreciation to Dr. Mohammed bin Daina for supporting the efforts of the oil sector to attain set goals and perform its role in sustainable development. Jawahery briefed the minister on the centre's preparations to deal with the repercussions of weather fluctuations and the rainfall that occurred in the Kingdom.
