Oman’s FM and Malaysia’s PM Address Middle East Conflict in Phone Call

Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi engaged in a phone conversation with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to discuss recent developments in the Middle East.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, both leaders emphasized their countries' mutual stance on the importance of prioritizing efforts to resolve the Israel-US conflict with Iran. They discussed the conflict's impact on neighboring countries, supply lines, maritime navigation, and the global economy.

The Malaysian Prime Minister acknowledged Oman's mediation initiatives and its support for peace and security in the region. In response, the Omani Foreign Minister reaffirmed Oman's dedication to maintaining its consistent and balanced foreign policy, focusing on diplomatic and peaceful resolutions.
