Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Tuesday, stressed the importance of the United States and Iran adhering to and respecting the ceasefire agreement.

According to Qatar News Agency, following renewed tensions between both countries, Sharif posted on X, "It is absolutely essential that the ceasefire be upheld and respected, to allow necessary diplomatic space for dialogue leading to enduring peace and stability in the region."

In a related context, the Pakistani Prime Minister condemned the Iranian attacks on the United Arab Emirates, expressing his country's solidarity with the authorities in Abu Dhabi.
