Islamabad: Pakistani Minister for Petroleum and Water Resources Musadik Malik and World Bank Vice President for South Asia Region Martin Raiser discussed, Saturday, ways to strengthen economic relations between the two sides, during the latter's visit to the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their joint commitment to enhancing economic cooperation and addressing shared challenges, particularly in the field of energy security.

They also stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships to achieve strategic goals in the areas of development and the economy.
