A young Palestinian man succumbed to his critical injuries on Saturday after being shot during an the occupation forces' raid on the town of Anabta in the city of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank. Palestinian medical sources reported that the 20-year-old martyr was shot by occupation forces early this morning during the raid. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Amid the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, Israel has expanded its aggression to the West Bank, targeting refugee camps and other densely populated areas with drones, warplanes, and ground-to-ground missiles. This escalation has resulted in the deaths of more than 500 Palestinians and injuries to approximately 5,000 others, according to official Palestinian data. The United Nations has called for an end to the "sharp escalation of deadly violence in the occupied West Bank" since October 7th and urged accountability for the deaths of over 500 Palestinians at the hands of Israeli forces and settlers.
