With three matches left to go of the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain have been crowned French champions for the 12th time. Unbeaten since September and in 26 matches in Ligue 1 since September 2023, Paris Saint-Germain are now 12 points clear of second-placed Monaco and can no longer be caught, the PSG website reported. On Matchday 31, Captain Marquinhos and his team-mates thus clinch the 12th French league title in the Club's history, following those of 1986, 1994, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023. With just one defeat in their first 30 matches, they've matched their achievements of 2013-2014 and 2015-2016. Les Rouge and Bleu have helped the club reach the symbolic milestone of 50 trophies. It is the second title of the 2023-2024 season for France's most successful club, following the Trophee des Champions win over Toulouse (2-0) at the Parc des Princes on 3rd January.
