The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed the date of presenting its final technical report to the House of Representatives regarding oil revenues and funds related to the share of the Kurdistan region in the federal budget.
Head of the Committee, MP Atwan Al-Atwani, said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency /NINA /, “The Finance Committee is in the process of hosting the Ministers of Oil in the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Region, and officials of the Federal and Financial Supervision Bureaus in the Region, during the next two days, in addition to hosting the Ministers of Finance in the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Region, in preparation for preparing the final technical report to be presented in the late House of Representatives session late this week.”
He added, "The final report will include a set of recommendations and proposals, which the House of Representatives will vote on in the form of a parliamentary decision that is binding on all parties and government agencies in the Kurdistan region and will be enforceable and guarantee the implementation of all instructions and provisions of the federal general budget law."
The Presidency of the House of Representatives directed the Parliamentary Finance Committee to host the Ministers of Finance of the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government regarding oil revenues and payments financed to the region.
