Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani affirmed Iraq's firm position in supporting the efforts of the national dialogue in Yemen.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated: "PM al-Sudani met today, the Yemeni Foreign Minister, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, and his accompanying delegation."
During the meeting, the two sides discussed all the files of the relationship between Iraq and Yemen, and ways to enhance joint cooperation, in a way that enhances the comprehensive development, security and prosperity of the region.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the historical and fraternal relationship that unites the two brotherly peoples of Iraq and Yemen, reiterating Iraq's firm position in supporting the national dialogue efforts in Yemen, and everything that would bring peace and heal the rift between the people of the same country.
The guest minister carried a message from the Yemeni Prime Minister, which included his greetings to the Prime Minister, and his praise for Iraq's pioneering role in regional and international issues, and for working to bring points of view closer and strengthening stability in them, in addition to the promising steps that the government is taking in the path of development and reform./ End
