Doha: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Somali counterpart Hassan Sheikh Mohamud discussed strengthening relations between the two countries at all levels during a phone call today. Egyptian President El-Sisi emphasized the importance of enhancing ties and cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian presidency stated that El-Sisi affirmed Egypt’s commitment to continuing joint efforts to explore broader horizons for cooperation between the two countries in various fields. Furthermore, he pledged support for the Somali government’s initiatives and the efforts of the Somali national army in combating terrorism.
