Abdulaziz bin Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud. This engagement highlights Qatar’s dedication to supporting international climate change initiatives and fostering sustainable development.

According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue focuses on enhancing international collaboration to implement the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, along with preparations for the COP30 climate conference set to occur in Brazil. Key topics on this year’s agenda include the acceleration of Paris Agreement goals, climate finance, nationally determined contributions (NDCs), adaptation strategies, and climate governance.

During the sessions, HE the MOECC Undersecretary underscored the essential role of subsidiary body sessions at the Bonn Climate Change Conference in facilitating global stocktake dialogues, mitigation strategies, and transitions that are just and tailored to each nation’s circumstances.
