Abu dhabi: HH UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic engaged in a phone conversation to discuss regional developments, focusing on the recent military escalation and its consequences for security and stability in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion also addressed the Serbian President's condemnation of the attack on the UAE Consulate General in Iraqi Kurdistan. President Vucic highlighted that the attack was a breach of international norms and conventions protecting diplomatic missions, representing a significant escalation that could endanger diplomatic personnel.
Both leaders emphasized the urgent need to cease actions that escalate tensions and advocated for meaningful dialogue and diplomacy to maintain regional security and stability, aiming to avert further crises.
