Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has received a telephone call from HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The call focused on the current military escalation in the region and its impact on both regional and global security and stability, alongside exploring avenues for peaceful resolution of disputes.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the conversation, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the necessity of halting the unprovoked Iranian attacks on Qatar and other regional countries. He highlighted the dangers posed by the targeting of critical infrastructure, particularly those concerning water, food, and energy resources.
HE Sheikh Mohammed underscored the importance of enhancing coordination and intensifying joint efforts to address the situation. He called for a return to dialogue, advocating for rationality and wisdom to defuse the crisis. The aim is to ensure global energy security, maintain freedom of navigation, protect environmental safety, and uphold regional stability.
