Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a meeting with HE Secretary of State of the United States Marco Rubio and HE Special Envoy of the US President to the Middle East Steve Witkoff. The discussions centered around the strategic partnership and cooperation between Qatar and the United States, with a focus on strengthening ties in defense and energy sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also addressed recent developments in the region, highlighting the importance of Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at reducing tensions and promoting stability. The Prime Minister emphasized the necessity for all parties to engage in mediation efforts to address the crisis's root causes through peaceful dialogue, with the goal of achieving a comprehensive agreement for sustainable peace in the region.
