Doha: The Public Prosecution’s Criminal Studies Institute organized a seminar on Criminal Justice in Islam, on the occasion of the advent of Ramadan. Presented by Sheikh Shaqr Juma Al Shahwani, the seminar addressed several key topics related to Islamic terms concerning justice, the importance of justice and its close connection to Islamic, linguistic, and legal sciences, and the principles of Islamic law and legal foundations, in addition to the concept of prosecution in Islam.

According to Qatar News Agency, this seminar is part of a series of events organized by the Criminal Studies Institute aimed at enhancing the Public Prosecution members’ legal culture and knowledge of Islam, deepening their understanding of the principles governing Criminal Justice in Islam and promoting the application of justice within the frameworks of both Islamic law and legal regulations.
