Doha: Qatar Airways has revealed that it will be operating a restricted flight schedule to and from Doha from March 18 to 28, 2026. The announcement comes as the airline continues to deal with the ongoing closure of Qatar's airspace, impacting its operational activities.
According to Qatar News Agency, the airline emphasized its commitment to supporting passengers affected by the reduced flight schedule and facilitating their return to families and destinations. Qatar Airways is actively preparing to resume full operations as soon as the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the reopening of the airspace, contingent on approvals from relevant authorities.
The airline has updated its limited flight schedule to offer greater flexibility for travelers during this period. Passengers are encouraged to check the updated schedule via the Qatar Airways website, official app, or through travel agents. Those with confirmed bookings will be contacted with details about their flights, and they are urged to update their contact information on the website or app.
Qatar Airways highlighted that flight schedules could change or be canceled due to operational or regulatory conditions, safety requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. Passengers are advised not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking.
For passengers with bookings between February 28 and March 28, 2026, Qatar Airways offers two options: changing the travel date twice for a new date up to April 30, 2026, without rebooking fees, or receiving a full refund for unused ticket value. These adjustments can be made via the airline's website.
