Qatar Engages in Real Estate Innovation at Riyadh Forum

Riyadh: The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Municipality, is actively participating in the 4th edition of the Future Real Estate Forum 2025, taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from January 27 to 29.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah is leading the delegation from the Ministry of Municipality and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) at the event. The forum is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Saudi General Authority for Real Estate, with the theme “Future for Humanity: Shaping Dreams into Reality.”

During a ministerial dialogue session titled “New Horizons: Balance and Innovation in the Real Estate Landscape in the Middle East,” HE the Minister highlighted that the real estate sector in the Middle East is undergoing significant transformations. He emphasized the crucial role of innovation in shaping the urban future of the region.

HE the Minister elaborated that the Ministry of Municipality is committed to integrating innovative technologies through smart systems for facility management, which enhances quality of life and resource efficiency in a sustainable way. He cited Lusail City as a model for merging innovation with cultural heritage, reflecting local identity while aligning with future aspirations.

HE Minister Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah also noted Qatar’s focus on fostering public-private sector collaboration to propel development in real estate investment, attract investments, and generate employment. The Simaisma project was highlighted as a key example of future real estate development in Qatar.

The forum aims to establish a comprehensive community for real estate stakeholders by promoting knowledge exchange and improving industry efficiency, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. It also serves as a platform for discussions on various real estate topics, including market trends and property management strategies.
