Qatar National Bank Announces New Deposit Rates for Various Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has released its latest deposit rates for various currencies, effective as of Tuesday. The rates, which cover terms ranging from one month to twelve months, show varying interest rates across different currencies, including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.

According to Qatar News Agency, the one-month deposit rate for USD is 3.67956, while for JPY it stands at 0.70000. The CHF one-month rate is slightly negative at -0.23000, and the GBP rate is 3.81000. Longer-term deposits in USD see a slight decrease, with the twelve-month rate at 3.63221. JPY rates increase over time, reaching 1.00000 at twelve months, while CHF turns positive at 0.19000 for the same term, and GBP increases to 4.27000.

For local and regional currencies, the QAR one-month rate is set at 4.10000 and decreases to 3.70000 for twelve-month deposits. SAR rates start at 4.50000 for one month and remain consistent at 4.30000 for six and twelve-month terms. AED rates begin at 2.05000 for one month, gradually rising to 3.15000 for twelve months, while BHD rates start at 4.55000 and decrease to 4.20000 over the same period.
