The State of Qatar has been ranked second worldwide in terms of the percentage of population that have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, among countries with a population of above one million.
This is according to the latest statistics published by "Our World in Data" organization, a scientific online publication compiling COVID-19 vaccination data from around the world.
The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) clarified that 4,252,387 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Qatar since the start of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program, with 80.1 % of the country's total population having received at least one dose of the vaccine. Also, 69.9% of the population have received both vaccine doses, as MOPH said.
