Al-Raya newspaper reported that amid escalating regional tensions and unprecedented challenges to global energy security, Qatar continues to emphasize its role as a reliable energy supplier, maintaining a solid record of full commitment to its pledges towards international partners. Qatar has established its reputation as a reliable source of LNG, consistently meeting its contractual obligations even in the most challenging circumstances, the newspaper highlighted. These Qatari messages come at a sensitive time for global energy markets, where geopolitical conditions are intertwined with the need for stable supplies.
Al-Raya also referred to the confirmation by HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi during his meeting with HE Director-General for Energy at the European Commission Ditte Juul-Jorgensen. HE Minister Al Kaabi reiterated Qatar's commitment to remaining a reliable energy supplier and expressed a desire to continue and strengthen energy cooperation with the European Union.
