Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher, marking an increase of 14.09 points, or 0.13%, to settle at 10,645 points compared to the previous session's close. This upward movement was supported by gains in five key sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data indicated positive performance in the Telecoms sector with a rise of 0.89%, followed by Consumer Goods and Services at 0.37%. The Industrials sector saw an increase of 0.19%, Real Estate improved by 0.15%, and Banks and Financial Services recorded a gain of 0.09%. In contrast, the Insurance sector experienced a decline of 0.24%, and Transportation fell by 0.60%.
By 10:00 am, the trading turnover had reached QAR 54.715 million, with 26.778 million shares exchanged in 3,503 transactions.
