New york: HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations (UN) Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met with HE Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov at the Permanent Mission in New York. During the meeting, key issues related to regional security and international diplomatic relations were discussed.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the UN emphasized Qatar's condemnation of the ongoing Iranian attacks on Qatari territory. Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani referred to UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026), which condemned such attacks on the territories of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states and called for their immediate cessation.

In response, HE the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar. Edil Baisalov underscored the importance of consolidating security and stability in the region, indicating a shared commitment to addressing these challenges collaboratively.
