QCDC Presents Inclusive Career Development Model at APCDA 2026 Conference

Kuala lumpur: Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), an initiative of Qatar Foundation, actively participated in the 2026 APCDA Conference, orchestrated by the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA). The conference unfolded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, focusing on the theme "Inclusive Career Development in Global Transitions."

According to Qatar News Agency, QCDC showcased its integrated approach to inclusive career development during the event. The delegation, led by QCDC's Executive Director Saad Abdulla Al Kharji, included Alanood Gamal, Career Programs and Services Officer. Together, they delivered a presentation titled "QCDC's Integrated Career Development and Readiness Initiatives for Persons with Disabilities."

QCDC emphasized the significance of embedding inclusive career development within a comprehensive ecosystem approach. This approach unites schools, employers, government entities, families, and practitioners, aiming to create effective pathways into education, training, and employment for individuals of all abilities.

Al Kharji remarked on the importance of their participation, stating, "Our involvement in APCDA 2026 was a pivotal opportunity to present a model that reflects both QCDC's practical experience and Qatar's overarching commitment to inclusive human capital development. We believe that sharing national experiences on international platforms is crucial to highlight Qatar's advancing role in promoting career development as a strategic national priority."

QCDC's engagement at the conference underscored its dedication to contributing to international discourse in career development. It also aimed to spotlight Qatar's expanding expertise in creating more interconnected, inclusive, and future-focused career development systems.
